In this application, you can compare parameters of physiology, hematology and breeding in different laboratory animals.
There is no such thing like one single species-specific respiratory rate. On the contrary, measured values may vary with experimental conditions (e.g. breeding strain, age and health status of the individual, handling, measuring technique, etc.). Therefore, literature often provides values in the form of average values and ranges (from X to Y). These values may additionally differ between references. For this reason, this application shows every parameter as a range of values that were obtained from the literature:
