Welcome to LASed
The learning tool "LASed" is a subproject of .
In this application, you can compare parameters of physiology, hematology, breeding and housing in different laboratory animals.
There is no such thing as a particular species-specific respiratory rate. Measurements may vary with experimental conditions (e.g. breeding strain, age and health of the animal, handling, measurement technique, etc.). This is why the figures cited in the literature are often given as mean values and ranges (from X to Y). These values may also differ from one source to another. For this reason, this application will show every parameter as a range of all values taken from the literature:
Click on this symbol to learn which values are included in a given range and from which literature sources they were obtained.
Please note that all information is subject to change.
